Who can apply?
Anyone serious about producing music. We don't care about your genre, your gear, or whether you've released anything yet. Tell us where you're at, where you want to go, and why this matters to you. We read every single one.
Is there a way in if I don't win?
Yes. Five runners-up get 50% off the Masterclass, your pick of Complete or Coaching. We reach out directly with a private offer the day winners are announced. The discount is yours alone and the window is tight, but short of winning outright, it's the easiest path into the program.
How do you actually pick the winner?
We review every application personally. Real reading, real reasoning. We look for producers who are clearly serious, who can articulate what they want to make and why, and who would actually use the program once they're in.
When are winners announced?
Wednesday, October 21st. Everyone who applies gets an email that day regardless of outcome. Winners, runners-up, and applicants we couldn't select this round.
Can I apply more than once?
One application per scholarship round. If you applied to a past round and didn't win, applying again doesn't hurt your chances. We re-read every one fresh. If you've already won a scholarship from us before, we won't pick you again. We want to keep it fair and save the spot for someone who hasn't had a shot yet.
I don't have finished music yet. Should I still apply?
Yes. Tracks that don't sound the way you want them to is one of the exact problems the Masterclass addresses (along with a few dozen others). You don't need finished music to apply. Just tell us where you're at and what you're stuck on.
How much time does the Masterclass actually take?
About 3-5 hours a week. 2-3 hours of recorded lessons, one hour of live group sessions on Wednesdays (recorded if you can't make it), and 1-2 hours of homework. Office hours add another two hours a month. You set the pace and lifetime access means there's no clock running. Some students blaze through in eight weeks. Others stretch it across a year. Both work.
Is there a catch?
No catch. The winner pays nothing. The runner-up discount is exactly 50%, with the standard 14-day money-back guarantee if it isn't the right fit: finish the homework, quizzes and action items from Modules 1 and 2, and if you're not seeing progress, we'll refund you in full. Applying does opt you into our email newsletter (production tips, free resources, the occasional offer). Unsubscribe any time if you're not finding the emails helpful. We never spam.
