Where to start

You're stuck somewhere specific. Let's find it.

Serik in the studio

You don't need a thousand more tutorials.

You just need to know what to do next.

And if I'm being honest, most producers who are stuck rarely have a talent or effort problem. Some do, of course, but if you found Hyperbits and are reading this right now, you likely don't belong in either of those categories.

Quick context before I tell you what to do next: you've stumbled across Hyperbits.

Around 1,700 producers have come through our Masterclass, and their music's been streamed over 3.2 billion times on Spotify alone.

And more than 18,327 producers in total have come through our paid courses, tools, and packs.

Just sharing so you know you're in a good place.

But you're not here for that. Plus, the about page has our story if you want it.

So let's find where you actually are in your journey and take the next step from there.

There's a free way into every stage, and steering you to the wrong one is the fastest way to lose you. So I won't.

01 The Complete Beginner

You're just learning the basics of your DAW.

Everything's unfamiliar. Every tutorial assumes you already know the one thing you don't.

This is the stage where people quietly decide they're “not a music person.” You are. You just haven't had a win yet.

So don't spend a dollar. Start with Groundwork, our free beginner course. Pick Ableton or Logic, learn the fundamentals in order, finish a track by the end. That first finished track changes everything.

02 The Tutorial Addict

You've watched 100+ tutorials and still don't finish tracks.

I know this one cold, because it was me for years. You can explain sidechain compression in your sleep and still stare at the same half-finished loop for three weeks.

Here's the trap: tutorials teach tricks. They almost never show the whole path from an empty session to a finished master. So you stack up tricks and never build the one muscle that matters, which is finishing.

The Start to Finish bundle is four producers each building one real track, beginning to end, nothing skipped. Watch it, then do it yourself on repeat until finishing stops being the scary part.

03 The Sound Hunter

You spend more time hunting for sounds than making music.

Two hours deep in a sample folder. Zero bars written. (We've all closed the laptop at 1am with nothing to show but a bigger sample collection.)

Most producers never clock how much a blank session costs them. When the good sounds are already in front of you, the ideas just start showing up on their own.

The Tools Bundle is everything we've ever made in one place: samples, presets, MIDI, vocals, kicks, atmospheres. Probably the only sounds you'll ever need.

04 The Sound-Alike

Your tracks are clean. They just sound like everyone else's.

Your mix is fine. The song is the problem, and that's the harder one to admit, because it isn't a setting you can go fix.

Generic ideas, arrangements you can see coming a mile off, nothing that's unmistakably you. This is where taste lives, and it's exactly where most producers stop growing.

The Songwriting Matrix is composition, arrangement, and the part that makes someone actually feel something. The stuff no plugin is ever going to do for you.

05 The Almost-Pro

Your records still don't sound like the artists you love.

You can finish a track and it's genuinely good. Then you A/B it against a record you love, and you can still hear it. That last little gap that won't go away.

Most of that gap lives in the mix and the master. The part nobody romanticizes, and the exact part that quietly makes or breaks a record.

Mix Master Flow is 25+ hours of that, across nine finished projects. And if the gap feels bigger than any one skill, keep reading.

06 The Destination

Where the gap finally closes.

You can fix the mix. The sounds. The songwriting. One piece at a time, and honestly, you should.

But past a certain point, the thing holding you back isn't any single piece. It's all of them at once, working together, and that's the hardest thing to teach yourself in a vacuum.

That's what the Masterclass is for. The whole system in one place: 200+ lessons, weekly live sessions, and real feedback on your music from producers who've already closed the gap themselves.

No rush. Build the foundation first. It'll be here when you're ready.

Still not sure where you fit? Tell me where you're stuck and we'll point you in the right direction.
